Nostalgie (2002), c'est là-bas que j'ai touché un kite pour la première fois

Pas de possibilité de kiter à partir de la plage de l'hôtel (trop side off-shore) mais le boat trip pour Kreazy bay est terrible

And you are rigth you can kite infront of holiday inn. Bu who would want to? When you have the option of the boat tripp? a whole nice relaxed day with loads of kiting and just kitesurfer around you. In the spot up in kreazy bay were you have nothing around to be in your way.

what about the Inconternitental hotel directly on the Kreazy beach spot ????? for sure, very good for the family !!!

well then we are really not in the same price class
Both the hotel and the kiting becomes much more expensive

But if you want to bring your famely I can offer you great prices at the holiday inn
starting from 20euro per adult in doubbel room and the first child is free and if you have 2 children then the second child pays 50% of one of the adults this is including breakfast

I went to the holiday inn 4 years ago with my family and last summer to the inconternitental hotel.

Agree : it is much cheaper
disagree : not fun for the family ! you leave at 8:45 am to take the boat and come back only between 5 and 6 pm.

Of course, I enjoy the atmosphere of the boat and the crew, but you can not have the choice to ride whenever you want or stay with your children. And this is the case in the other solution. I also recon that the "german garden" of the kite school near the other hotel is not very fun specially for french people...you have to pay 60€ per week for the storage and to have access to the spot.

The choice will really depends if you travel with friends or only kitesurfers and, in that case, The Tornado center is superb, but, with a family I really advise the Incont.

But in both solution, the spot is magic !

I'm ok the boat trip was fun but I went from the beach of the Sham's to the kreasy bay by kite... not a problem for intermediate kiters... Easy with the side-offshore wind of the morning...
Other things, it was one of my beste holidays.
I like Red Sea...

Im working on a very good solution for the famelys who dont want to be on the boat aswell and I hope to have it ready for this summer. Cant tell to much about it untill now but its on the way and then there will be a cheap option for everyone

When I was in Imperial Shams in April 2008 it was possible to ride in front of Mistral Club But the Spot is really gusty and I prefer to stop and ask you to take your boat to go to Soma Bay
I was I really enjoy to trip avec ton bateau and appreciate your nice ambiance inside and outside your boat .
But I'll never start again ! trop de contraintes départ à 9,00 H, 3/4 h de navigation, gonflage des ailes une par une sur le bateau puis arimage des ailes le long du cable, bouf approximative sur le bateau ( tes cachets magiques Streptoquin m'ont souvent sauvé la mise ) et retour en DW .
Je suis allé ensuite ( en Taxi ) à l' Intercontinental et là c'est franchement tout autre chose: on est directement sur le Spot et libre de faire ce qu'on a envie. C'est plus cher, certes, mais incomparablement supérieur à tout le reste.
Tu m'excuseras Sara, mais je pense que cette mise au point était nécessaire.

Hi Dan!

Yes sure you can kite infront of the club mistarl but as you say its gusty and itf full of corall and it has choppy waves comming from 2 diffrent directions.
But you can not kite infront of holiday inn.
The boat leaves at 9:00 so that we are set up and ready when the side shore wind arrives at 10:00 - 10:30 and the wind goes down around 15:00-15-:30 and we are at the spot untill then and then you have the 5km downwind. if you do all and max kiting ( not alot of people do becourse they get tyred) you can do 5-6h.
For the food, the problem is the food in the big hotels they serve Buffe and that just grows to much bacteria. I dont have people getting sick from the boat food its easy to check becourse everyone that stays in the small hotels like alibaba ( that serve alacarte) they are never sick. So only the people who lives in hotels like Shams, Shams imperial, Holiday inn, Solymar and eat the food in the evening or drink the yellow toxic drink in the morning gets sick.
and ofcourse we want all our guests healty so we make sure you know about the secrest streptoquin
