Quelqu'un a t'il essayé la nouvelle aile de peterlynn?? Premières impressions???

très peu en france ont eu l'occasion d'en tester...voici un test d'un etranger (yen a d'autre test, mais celui-ci est fait par un mec exterieur au team peterlynn) :<br><br>Unlike Bobs first comments , the first time I flung the V19 into the<br>air you new something special was going on, not your usual Arc or LE<br>kite for that matter. Over the past few weeks I've had the kite in<br>winds from 10 knots to 21knots and the wind range is incredible.<br>Moving the rear strap in or out really extends the top and bottom<br>end of this kite. I would even go as far to say that for heavier<br>guys this could be the one kite quiver you have been waiting<br>for!!!!, I dont suggest you take it over 20 knots but I was<br>certainly OK at 90kg , 130cm board in the higher wind ranges with<br>the rear strap fully out in the surf. Last Sunday was spent most of<br>the day riding very lit in the high teens...18 to 20 knots in the<br>surf and the ride was sooooo sweet 3 hours went by and I was still<br>out there when most of the other guys who were on LE had packed up<br>and gone home due to the gusty winds.<br><br>Interesting points to note: I have noticed my 19 still has auto<br>zenith in light winds???, be it ever so slight, but take your hands<br>off the bar and the kite will sit where you park it for a few<br>seconds and then very slowly work its way up to zenith. Even took a<br>nasty fall right in the middle of a 6 footer into the washing<br>machine and was under for about 20 seconds in white wash to pop up<br>and see the kite happily waiting for me at zenith. Would have been<br>a tangle and long swim back to the beach on my old North in the same<br>situation. Lets just say that for wave riding this is the dream kite<br>I was been waiting for as you can really concentrate on riding the<br>wave not really having to think about the kite.

j'en sais rien, mais ils abusent de promettre des livraisons en janvier, si ya toujours rien...ça a fait comme l'annee derniere...ni mieux, ni pire...

un autre test objectif :<br><br>en gros, le mec dit que c'est pas encore cette aile qui sera efficace dans le light...je pense de plus en plus que les peterlynn sont pas adaptées au light wind...mais dans le vent fort, elles sont super...c'est sur.<br><br>85 kg rider 30m lines, 90cm bar, directional board, 4 years<br>kitesurfing experience.<br><br>Tried the 16 in 10 to 15 knot winds...<br>The 16m filled very quickly in the sparrow's fart wind at ground<br>level and launch was a a breeze. Rock solid in the air.<br><br>There was a midget weighting 50kg staying upwind on a 15m Best<br>inflato, and a competent non-midget staying upwind on a 20m inflato.<br><br>I could barely get up on the board at 10 kn, at the 15 kn gusts I<br>could keep the kite still and ride downwind. With the internal strap<br>fully pulled in, I did manage the stall the kite once while turning<br>hard when the wind dropped to maybe 5kn... and the kite tacoed in mid<br>air and floated with both carbon spars glued together for a few<br>seconds in mid air, then gently dropped to the water. No relaunch in<br>crappy wind, had to swim in!<br><br>Morale of the story, yes you need to be careful in superlight wind<br>and strap fully pulled in, the kite can taco quite catastrophically<br>as mentioned in another post. And get a 19m for less than 18 knots!<br><br>Tried the 13 in 20-25 knots another day and the kite rode very<br>comfortably with great jumping, but was not pulling very hard... I<br>reckon I would be happy with that kite up to 30 knots.<br><br>I think the 16 probably has the largest overall useful range among<br>the venoms, but if you need to kite in low wind DON'T get a 16...

Ouaip, en gros la 16 à la puissance d'1 14 à boudin, de ce que j'ai lu...<br>donc pour 1 pépére de 85 kgs, à 10 knts,<br>sur que ça rame 1 peu...<br>Moi j'attends idem de voir ce que ça va donner.

Au fait, a t-on des infos plus précise sur une éventuelle sortie de la Phantom II ? nouveau profil... ou simple changement de position du zip ?

dispo mi fevrier, mais il est préférable de se rapprocher de vos shops dés maintenant car les quantités seront minimes au début.<br>

salut,<br><br>je vois pas ce qu'ils peuvent ameliorer dans le profil, il est le meme pour toutes les ailes à caissons maintenant...par contre, ya pleins d'autres points qui peuvent etre améliorer...je vous laisse deviner.<br><br>en ce qui concerne la phantom 2, une seule info est sortie du clavier d'un des concepteurs, qui a repondu oui à la quesiotn suivante : "j'ai vu un proto qui ressemblait à une eventuelle phantom2...c'etait ça ?"<br><br>donc, je pense qu'il y en aura une...mais si elle ressemblait à la precedente, c'est qu'une fois de plus il n'y a rien d'absolument innovant...mais tant qu'elle marche, on s'en fou, n'est-ce pas ?
